Historic Rally of Greece, a three-day classic race that attracts the interest of the majority in motorsport. These three days, mountains are crowded by spectators. This time, something different is going to happen. The race ramp at Zappio, classic cars from both sporting and regularity category would start at the same time!

It is really nice, a historic place that is usually full of visitors, host vehicles which have their own special story. I participated in regularity race as part of organization. Crews were supposed to cover about 855 kilometers. From the capital of Greece, Athens, the crews would head to the historic first greek capital, Nafplio.
My contribution was mainly to be at the Time Control Stations when cars exiting or entering (TC OUT - TC IN). It sounds a little wrong, first reporting the exit and then the entry of cars, but this is how it goes: "exit" from Time Control Station at starting point where the crew will follow a simple route until it gets into the special stage. Accordingly, "entry" Time Control Station upon termination, the crew is driven to park ferme or to service park.
There was lot of competition and constant battles of mind, spirit and technique. In conclusion of this race, there was a pleasant surprise, as a crew with the youngest participant (only 9,5 years old) took the first place.
This may be a hope for future in motorsport.The love for classic cars, in a generation that learns to drive from screen (simracing) in such a young age.
